Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.

But do you know the history of Civil Engineering, well it is also called 'Mother of Engineering'.

Earlier there used to be only two types of engineering, one Military engineering for the army purpose, and other Civil engineering, for the common people, for non-military purposes.

Its a 4 year bachelor degree in which you'll learn every concepts of construction, execution, designing, planning, QS and Cost estimation, building bylaws, materials and equipments and it is not limited to these specific areas. You will learn about mechanics of solids, fluid and hydraulic engineering, irrigation and water resource engg and etc. You'll have to be quite good in calculations if you are opting for this industry. There are unlimited branches in this industry for your career options which you will know further after deep knowledge of this industry.
